Catalog "Documents"

Description, addition, editing, deletion, mass changes, document types

The "Documents" catalog is used to create a list of values that can be later added to tasks, forming a list of documents that you want to show to an employee before or during the task's execution. These documents can include instructions, diagrams, or anything else that should assist the performer in their work. Document formats can include PNG, JPG, PDF, and you can also provide a link to an external source, such as a YouTube video.
1. Adding a value to the catalog.
To add a new item to the "Documents" catalog, you need to click on the "Catalogs" button in the left menu, and then select "Documents" from the additional menu.
To add a new item, click on the "ADD+" button.
In the opened window, enter the document's name, and then select its type.
If you have chosen the option "Document JPG/PNG/PDF," in the field that appears, click on the "+ Add Document" label and select the required document from your computer.
Make sure your document has loaded into the preview window, and then click the "Save" button.
If you have chosen the document format "Link to an external source", paste the required URL link into the field below and click "Save".
After saving, the newly created item will appear in the catalog list.
2. Editing.
To edit the "Documents" catalog item, click the button with three dots on the right and select "Edit" from the list that appears.
An editing window will appear where you can make the necessary adjustments. After making the changes, don't forget to click the SAVE button.
3. Deletion of items.
If you need to remove items from the "Documents" catalog, simply click the button with three dots to the right of the name of the corresponding item and select "Delete".
The system will ask once more to confirm if you are certain about your intention, just in case you accidentally clicked "Delete".
4. Mass changes.
It sometimes happens that you need to delete multiple items from the catalog at once. Deleting them one by one can be very inconvenient, so it's better to use the bulk editing feature.

To do this, you need to select all the items you want to delete by checking the checkbox to the left of their names.
If you need to quickly select the entire list, you can use a special checkbox in the list header, like this:
Once the checkboxes are selected, a Grey-blue bar will appear below the list header with "Delete" button. This button will allow you to carry out your actions on a mass scale. Just be sure to proceed with caution, as deleted items cannot be recovered.
5. Document types.
To make it easier to navigate the document catalog, we have provided different labels for various types of documents.
  1. If there is an icon resembling a document to the right of the document's name, it signifies that the document is in PDF format.
  2. If the icon displays an image, it indicates that the document is in JPG or PNG format.
  3. If the icon consists of three circles connected by lines, it signifies that the document is a link to an external resource.
